A
polished 1940 Spartan Executive that had a
left gear failure. There was
extensive damage to nearly all the lower
skins and secondary structure, center
section of flap, wing tip and horizontal
stabilizer. We constructed a holding
fixture to support the fuselage and rotate
it, allowing better access and visibility
to the damaged area. Since it is
polished, any blemish would not be
acceptable. We are proud of the way
it turned out and it is a fine example of
the quality of workmanship that we strive
for on every project. We take pride
in doing the best repairs possible while
keeping customer costs down.
